    Hmmmmmmmmm.......Not shutting off the controller before testin the probe, verses not shuttin off the water before leavin the house....

    Steve,
    Next time we meet up, plan on spending a very very Long time listening to me tell you of all my "not-so-smart" or down right stupid fish keeping mistakes if you want...I think 5 gals of homebrew would be needed for the story telling session.

    Doesn't matter how skilled someone is or high tech their tanks...mistakes happen....to err is human...to learn from it... is Life.

    Glad you were able to learn from this one without the loss of any of the fish!! That to me is a win-win situation...and to share the experience with all the forum may help someone down the line not make the same mistake...so kudos there!

    Yeah Its a old age thing I think.... Steve is pretty much as old as i am, an Brew yer not far from it...Steve ya forgot more than many will know my friend...
