These guys are doing great. Still eating quite well. They are getting daily 90% water changes, and eating FBW, FBS, red wrigglers, Omega one Marine flakes and pellets. They're a bit jumpy with me at times but otherwise doin' great.
I plan to get them moved to a 100gal after I get it resealed. Give them a little more swimming room.

Looking good Jose. I really like that one that's getting more red on it. I don't think any of mine look like that.
I took some pics of mine last night at water change time, I should get those up, looks like it's time to update!

Jose, they are absolutely beautiful! Seems like they've grown quite a bit since I last saw them. Your effort is paying off nicely!

Looking Fine Jose!!!!
Yours differ in colour slightly to Eileens, hers seem to have brownish bodies and yours are more golden. I wonder if its the lighting, or differance in water parametres or even feeding?
They look fantastic.
Keep it up mate, only another 4 months to go.
We're here for a good time...not a long time
I have noticed the color change too. I think it's just the fact that Jose's tank is painted light and Eileen's isn't. The reason I say this is because I had all mine in a painted light blue tank and since I've moved three of them out into an unpainted tank, they seem a bit darker/browner than the ones left in the painted tank.
So, based on that, my guess is it's just environment/lighting. Neat how they can change with their surroundings though.

Jose!! Looking mighty fine there bud!
Hats off to ya, you have done a fantastic job with these guys considering they were once close to there way out!
Mark
Big thank you to all for the compliments. They have definitely made me happy to watch them grow. Mark, you're right, bud; to think of some the crap they've been through stuns me as to how well they are doin'. I do hope to keep it up Karen that one with the red fins is the brightest of the bunch and definitely my fav. Not the biggest but the nicest . I tend to agree that the environment does have some affect on the base color perhaps, but I will say that a few of these guys are darker in color and stay a more reddish brown color as opposed to that particular guy. Granted they all darken up a bit come WC time.
Al, I quite can't remember the source but if it comes back to me, I'll definitely point you in that direction. Thanks!
