Joe, I think getting the numbers up may help the two in the challenge tank. I am sorry to hear this as well. I feel your frustration and sadness, bud, as I've watched another tank dwindle in numbers before finally figuring out what was wrong.
Things have settled a little since my last report. I am left with only 2 discus in my challenge tank, and 1 in my planted tank, with my other discus. The challenge fish is at the lower end of the pecking order there, but is feeding well and looking fine.
The other 2 are still not feeding well at all and surely miss being in a larger group.
I need to work out a way to spruce them up a bit.....maybe buy a few more fish to put with them.
I sure miss having the whole group coming up begging for more food.
We're here for a good time...not a long time

Sorry to hear about this Joe. It has to be disheartening to say the least. Keep your chin up, you still have 3!

Hi Everyone.
Sorry about the long delay in answering to your replies...but l've been away marlin fishing.....again.
Only two challenge fish left l'm sorry to say, and are now both in my other discus community tank. Came home to find water temp at 15 degrees.
Have a bit of work to do to get everything back on trck. Only been home an hour, and will post a better report and picture soon.

Keep up with the good work that you have been doing and get everything stable again and you should be fine.
