Cary, I just now saw your post. Thanks for the compliment.

Aran, I didn't see your post uniil just now either. I think the Fruity Pebbles may be over the hill, but I'm trying a few more things before I give up and throw them in the community tank. They have eggs again now. I've caged them and removed the female. Fingers crossed.

Here are some pics. The real clean ones are of them whin I first got them. They peppered up some (well, a good bit) after they started spawning.

Are the Fruities still spawning? If so, have you tried a foster parent??

They started producing few and weak fry that didn't sruvive so I put them in tap for a while to become re-mineralized.

Since they've been back in RO, they've spawned a few times. First 2 didn't look fertile at all and were eaten. The last batch had a few eggs that looked good to me. I noticed mom and dad arguing some, and when I got abck from work the eggs were gone.

If I get wigglers, I believe dad will take care of them. If not, I'll try fostering. But vaible wigglers are the immediate goal.

Hey Liz - hope you made it home ok with all those tanks ya got from glass cages. I really like the (2) 55 talls and the (2) 65's I got. They'll make great grow out tanks for all those Rt's and SS's that you brought down to the show on Saturday. All of the babies are eating great and already growing. The (2) 2.5" RT's and the 2.5" SS are doing great too. You picked out some with real wild patterns that I like. I'll post some pic's this weekend between my kids ball games, if I get a chance. Also, you might want to check the calibration of you CBW scale. I almost hurt my back trying to pick up the "1" lb of worms you sold me. Take care for now and tanks a million. Oh yeah, great job on the Fruity Pebbles. I guess you'll have you hands full again, not that you don't already. ;D
