When I tried this the fry covered the "parents", but I was also feeding a lot of BBS and took the fry out earlier than I prefer to with Discus.

Al, a couple of those videos looked like *maybe* the fry were a little interested in the slime coat? Do you think they ate any?

The angelfish fry were definitely feeding off the slime coat.. It's visible in the vids and one reason I stopped the experiment.

The concern with angel fry eating it as opposed to discus fry eating it is...? Or they were still doing it later than normal? Or because the spawn was so big?
It's very interesting that the fry ate the slime coat.
Has anyone tried ram fry with their discus?
Angel's, even as babies, are much more aggressive feeders than Discus. I think they bite harder, too.
