Flood!
I woke up to a fish room floor covered in water and for the first time ever, it wasn't my own fault. The cutoff valve to one of my 250 gallon water storage containers failed. I went up to the end of my long dirt road to turn of the water at the meter. I'm headed out to the hardware store so I dont' have to be without water for any longer than necessary.
I've never had a valve fail before. I never have until now.

Re: Flood!
Wow! I am surprised. I have never seen a ball valve fail. I have seen them stick closed. And you use the expensive schedule 80 union valves.
not on this. this is sch 40.

Re: Flood!
You should have kept some of the schedule 80 valves you gave me. Remember, "No good deed goes unpunished"
Hope you got it fixed.

Re: Flood!
There was only 1 1/2". I thought I kept it but I guess I gave it to you. All the rest were 1" I did keep 2 of those, just in case.

Re: Flood!
It's not a crisis in my fishroom, just a PITA. I'm just glad that this was an easy fix.
