EDIT - Issue resolved.
Hi Admin team,
Google Chrome (Version 118.0.5993.70 (Official Build) (arm64)) in Mac OS (14.0 (23A344)) is not able to render the site for the past 2 days.
I had to switch to using Safari browser to make this post.
Attached is a screenshot from Google Chrome. Clearing Cache and other regular steps did not solve the problem.
Please look in to this when you get time.
Thank you

I continue unable to login using Chrome. When I use Edge, I have to login a second time, even though I asked to be remembered on the first login attempt.
When I took your advice and used Chrome to login to HTTP://simplediscus.com, I was still unable to get in. Can you help?
Is this a typo?
The correct address for the forum is http://forum.simplydiscus.com/forum.phpWhen I took your advice and used Chrome to login to HTTP://simplediscus.com, I was still unable to get in
I was also having an issue with Chrome redirecting me to use the "https:" even if I removed the s. I then removed the "php" and the "s" and it took me to an error message then I refreshed and it worked. Could have been a coincidence but it's worked ever since...
Thanks. That did the trick. I don't need to understand it.
I envy you!!
Unfortunately I need to understand it lol.... and have I think gotten to understand whats going on with some browsers . The problem is basically as we have said here. Some browsers are trying to use the more modern web address system of HTTPS. This is becoming the new standard, unfortunately there is some software this forum uses that doesn't play nice with HTTPS as it was built before HTTPS. Its going to take more time than I thought and some trial and error . Patience is appreciated.

It's happening to me too with Google Chrome on my main comuter but I have no problems with Firefox. I think the last Microsoft 10 Update caused the problem for me because my old obsolete computer in the fishroom, that doesn't get updates, launches the site perfectly.
So relieved to see this thread today! Been surfing on Edge for a few days as I couldn't figure out the issue with Chrome. Just had my work laptop changed out (Windows OS) and I assumed there was something with the new machine that was responsible.
Using the http address fixed my issue. Hope you can figure it out without too much hassle, Al.
Google Chrome doesn't work on my Amazon Tablet but Google Search does work.
