That's an extensive list. I'm going to have to look up the pictures to put an L # with the face!
How many do you currently have and which ones?
I just wanted to share my current list of Pleco's that have work with my discuss with no issues. In my opinion I don't think a discus tank (currently 16 discuss) limits one from a interesting Pleco collection. Interested in you thoughts and what other Pleco would you add
My collection so far:
Leopard Frog- (L134)
Red Titanic -(L273)
(3) Zebra- (L046)
Snowball- (L201)
Red Tail Cactus –(L024)
Goldie- (L014)
Angelicus -(L004)
Brazil Butterfly -(L168)
Alenquer Red Tiger- (L397)
Peppermint chubby- (L31)
Opal Spot -(L082)
12 Point Scarlet- (L025)
Highfin Green Phantom- (L200)
Sultan-(L264)
Spotted Pinecone-(L152)
Hypostomus (Firefin Pleco)- (L-360)
Blue Eyed Sonia (L137)
(6) Albino Long Finned Bristlenose—(L144)
Sunshine- (L014)
(2) Candy Cane -(L015)
Golden Nugget -(L018)
Scribbled-(L66)
Orange Cheek-(L095)
Queen Arabesque (L260)
King Arabesque (L453)
Red Tail Sternella (L114)
Adonis (L155)
That's an extensive list. I'm going to have to look up the pictures to put an L # with the face!

What temperature are you typically keeping your discus tank at, Frogs62? I've been keeping mine at 85 and have an adult bristlenose I've been thinking about moving over. But wondering if that's a little too high?
Interesting. Thanks for the share. I've got a breeding colony of l397 and some BNs. l397 don't really do anything to algae/diatoms/biofilm, but the BNs sure do in the other tank. Was thinking about adding one to my discus tank but chickened out at the end. Read too many horror stories that scared me away haha.
Many if the pelvis come from the same place where discus live. Actually, contact freshwater exotics.
They go on expeditions with collectors and, I believe that they carry most of the pelvis on your list.

Blue phantom has worked for me, as well as L201 Snowball in 85 degree temp. It’s true that if you’re looking for algae/biofilm munching there’s nothing like a plain old BN.
Don’t forget otos and cories, they count too! In addition to Sterbai, I’ve had luck with corydora similis in high temps. They don’t breed, but they do really well.
I have all of the Pleco's on the list and always looking to add. I keep my tank temp between 84-86 and do a 20% WC once a week.
I've kept and bred many L-number plecos in my discus tanks and have not had any issues with them sucking slime off the sides of the discus. The trick seems to be keeping them well fed. The L-398's and L-333's will spawn in pleco caves on bare bottom tanks. Once they get to 1" or so, the fry will dig themselves into driftwood.
At my age, everything is irritating.
Anyone here keep a l52 with their discus? Just picked one up from my LFS and he is QT right now. Wondering how well they do with biofilm and algae eating. Thanks
