I'm interested, but got a few questions;
-will it/they do ok with my bristlenose plecos?
-can you sex them? looking for a pair
-and how big have you seen them get?

They are like any other pleco territorial but as long as they are not overcrowded they are fine. They do get way bigger than most bristlenose. They do get to around 14" if you can get them to live that long as they are slow growers in captivity. They are extremely hard to sex until breeding size. The water requirements are close to discus. They do require pristine water conditions. They require a mainly meaty diet but do accept algae wafers and veges.
Do note that full grown adults are not the same in coloring as juvies...most lose most to all of the yellow fins and the yellow body dots will diminish in size.
