    Default Whirling disease?

    Hello,
Before a few months i had a pair, and i say had because i lost my female.
On that video you can see what happened and at the end she started to
speed up and hit everywhere. It was the end.
    Thank you.

Judging by the aggression shown by the partner with the fry, I would suggest it has been hit in the swim bladder or brain region by the aggressive fish and this has caused the "whirling". I don't believe it is a disease problem.

If diseased, wouldn't it be a progressive thing? For instance starting with color loss and hiding? This fish ' color appears normal. Seems like something traumatic may have happened to it to cause it to deteriorate more rapidly.
    Jennie,

that is the same way my fish die and it is the very same symptoms , spinning round and round and locked bodies and high coloring, they get brighter and the colors show up more.I am still trying to figure this disease out, i have no idea what it is.
If killing fish was an art , I WOULD BE THE PICASSO

Here you can see some informations about the disease.
Also here there are some more.
The important think on the 2nd link is the part "prevention and control" that couldn`t found on 1st.
I didn`t know anything about and i couldn`t help her.
There was no problem between the pair and the male as you can see he was
trying to "restore" the female. He started to be angry after two days
because of the fry and i drove her to a quarantine tank.
The fish doesnt change colour and the stress of the born is a very
good reason for the desease appearance.
Aequifasciatus if the fish hit in the swim bladder i think it will swim not straight the most of the time and as
you can see on that video after a few seconds she came back straight and
she looked ok except one-two times during the day when she did that.
I hope it was something like what you said.
I dont know what else to think about. It was a very hard situation for sure.
I hope noone else leave this never again.
