Should be fine, ...been there done that! wouldn't hurt to bring it down again with a little cooler water...But I have never had a problem with temp changes like that..The key is...do the fish look happy or sad?

Ok - Was doing a water change - about 35%
Started refilling the tank - and the phone went nuts and I got involved with the phone company on the phone for repair.
Tank refilled the 35% but because I wasn't monitoring it due to distraction... I added water that was too warm...
Tank went from 85º up to 90º (in span of 15 minutes slow refill.)
The heater I use for this tank max setting is 85º so is it going to be alright to let this tank gradually go back to 85 on it's own?
Bloody Phone company!

Oh they look happy... they filled thier bellies with Bloodworms before I did the change...
Thanks Al - Don't feel quite so stunned as I did 5 minutes ago -
The fish probably thought it was some sort of a spa treatment!
