Nice pics. and beautiful Discus, I like the colors you mixed in. Very pretty tank, I love live plants.

A very pale Bala Shark...It must just be the light...Agreed though, nice Discus
how long have you had your Discus? they're beautiful!
very impressed with your planted tank & substrate (I myself opted to remove all plants & went BB.....just easier to keep squeaky clean IMO). I've never heard of Balas with Discus, do they get along ok?

Thanks guys . I've had the discus roughly 4 months . I've only had the 2 red turks a week . The bala shark in the pic was very pale . was from the day i got him . I have taken him out of the tank to make room for the others . I had 2 Bala's and got along great with the discus

so your discus are still relatively young then? I'm still new to this, and am trying to develop my *eye* for recognizing maturity in Discus.

Yeah they are still pretty young . They are from 2.5 inches to 4 inches in length . The smallest is the pigeon blood in the last pic . He has just started to color up . When i first got him he was mostly white .

I'm in Australia so i don't think he would last the distance . I'll take him to my local fish shop and try to get rid of him there .

The Blue Diamond is really flat from mouth to fin . Is this always going to look like this . Or will it grow out . He is a great eater and very active . Also is boss of the tank . I've never had trouble with him . Just the flat head .
