I need help with an idea
i have one of those pretty cool ideas, but im stuck and i need some help now. I need to find a clear material, that is kinda strong, but very bendable. I need it to bend to the shape of a barrel, like a window into the barrel. I tried plexiglass, but i think it is too brittle, is there a way, like heating the plexiglass to make it get the right shape?? Thanks for any help you can offer.

if I remember correctly we made candy dishes in school out of plexi or acrylic....I think acrylic..it becomes very flexible when heated..you could put it on an old cookie sheet and put it in the oven. Bend it to shape and let it cool. You might be able to spray it with water to speed cooling

how big is the piece that you need to bend????????
if it is small enough.......the best way to bend this sort of stuff is heat it in some cooking oil. then bend it. placing it in the oven MAY burn it.
