How long to u leave the fry with the parent. They have been eating brine shrimp now for 3 days. Would like to remove them in case the mother decides to eat them.

You can remove them anytime. Its a personal choice. The important thing is to feed them enough to compensate for them not feeding off the parents.

If you have doubts about mom, but trust dad you could always remove her and leave the kids with him.

As long as the fry are eating BBS you can move them in a separate tank. Just do some heavy feeding with daily massive water changes .
