My Nanay wild Greens ..Whirling Disease
I have wanted Nanay Greens from Peru for a very long time. Breeding wilds and hybridizing to domestics is one of my main focuses.
One of the sellers of tropical fish that I have been buying my non-discus fish from, Tristan'sTropical Fish in Evansville WI, was able to order me a group of Nanay Greens. It was his first order from this exporter of the greens so it was a test run for me and him as well. I went with the basic greens. Even among these there are some that should have some spotting.
He got the fish in a few weeks ago and was happy with them as was I when I saw the pics..
Picked them up at Fedex and am really happy with these greens..Packing was great... he used 9 heat packs! TEMP was 81F in the bags. They are young still which is perfect for me..
Very happy with the whole shipment and dealing with Tristan a real pleasure.
If you are interested in getting some...these aren't something he stocks but he said he can put orders in for groups of fish at a time.. .. I started this process back in Dec...so be patient. I also highly suggest his dutch rams and endlers and other fishes that he regularly carries.

Re: My Nanay wild Greens ....
Nice, Al, I bought some apistos from Tristan a year ago. He does a good job. He's actually only about 2-2.5 hours from me or so. He seems to bring in quite a bit of wild caught stuff.
