Just received 5 bt's and 5 rt's from Martha today, all look good. I used the plop and drop method, was a little worried though, ph in the bag was 6.8 and my tank is 7.8.

What exactly is the plop and drop method? Never heard this statement. Is it just dumping them directly in the tank with no acclamation process? Is this good to do with long shipments? I personally have never had fish shipped to me.

Do a search on this for about the plop and drop method. it was the first time i have ever done that and it worked fine. You float the bag to get there temp right and just put them in the tank.

AS long as Ph is going up!! That is very important but it works FANTASTIC. I very much prefer it and im at two shipments where I have used that method as of now. If the Ph is going down then the fish needs to be slowly acclamated to the more acidic water, shock can ensue, so always make sure you know what your shipper's Ph is and also that it will most likely drop in shipping. Cant wait to see pictures!!! Ive only heard great things!!

The fish are still hiding alot behind the filters when I turn the light on. They should calm down the next couple of days so I can send some pics.

A little update, I decided to leave the lights off for the next couple of days to see if they relax a bit. Looks like tonight there starting to eat frozen bloods worms.

Hi Eric, glad to hear they are eating. Do you have fdbw? They will find it really hard to resist that.

Things totally different this morning, turned the lights on, shy at first and then started swimming all over the tank, fed them fdbw.738777387873879
