Drug trafficker boss was discus keeper!

Hi all,

If you are following international news, you must have seen that police forces have occupied another slum in Rio de Janeiro. This time was Rocinha, which has about 100,000 inhabitantes. The drug trafficking gang was let by a guy called Nem. When police came to his house, they discovered a huge fish tank. And guess what, it included some pretty nice wild discus!

By the way, Nem cannot enjoy his fish. He was caught a few days before the occupation and is in jail

Okay, I'm dying to know what his username is and also the link to that thread.

Looking at that tank, I don't see it as a planted tank.... did he pull the plants out? It all looks fake. Neon color?

Puts a different meaning to slum lord. I follow international politics, but $10 says after the olympics are over, it's all going back to the drug dealers. Only way Brazil can 'clean-up' and show the world they're an emerging world power is to deal with root cause issues and drugs and lack of law enfrocement are only part of the problem. Heck, I bet the drug dealers bring in more money to the local economy than the police will. Hope they're building schools and roads.
