I'm pretty sure I asked this before, but would 9 discus do ok in a 70g. I'd like to upgrade in the future but for now I only have the 70g.
Filtration is a xp3 and a number 5 sponge although I may add an aquaclear110 as well!

It all depends on your feeding and WC schedule. I run 1 AC110 and 2 sponge on all my 75 gal.

I got 15 discus in a 75 gallons tank just using an aquaclear 110 with 70% water changes daily.....feeding 3 times a day.

Wow! 15 is alot. I work full time so I only feed 2 times a day and try to do 40% water changes 3 times a week, sometimes it's only 50% twice a week. All the fish I have are healthy and eat well.

I have 8 in a 75g with 2 AC110 filters. I W/C every 4 days 50% with no problems.
