Well 6 hrs later, sore back and legs and my Discus is now in a 25 gal. What a job that was but it is all done now. One very happy fish indeed.

But I did find out yesterday that our one store that carried some discus no longer does. They are just not popular here and the stores will not bring them in unless I ask for them for myself.

How could no one want the "king of the aquarium" in their home........;)

Oh well, my kind is just that and I will make sure it gets all the best care needed.

So with that, I would like to tell you what I have in the tank with the Discus and a question to follow as well.

I have 10 neon tetras (cardinals drop off like flies here)
2 small Blue German Rams (pair)
2 small sterbai catfish
1 baby bristlenose catfish

I would like to know if I could put another 5 or 10 neons in this tank?? The schooling affect they give is just amazing.

I am running an Aqua Clear 200 filter on this tank.

I would think adding another 5 or 10 neons wouldn't pose a threat to your bio filter. Neons tensd not to do as well at the higher end of discus temps, 84f and they should be ok, but that is the limit really for them imo. Their life expectancy diminishes quickly at the higher temps.
