Tips on buying discus

Hi all,

I am just thinking of getting some discus. And i am just wanting to no about any kinds of tips for certain kinds or anything for a beginner to no or what kind of tank and food needed, also i would like some cheeper ranged kinds, because i am just starting and don't have a job at the moment. I am jst living off my winter earnings hear, so don't say all these really expensive kinds cause i wont even consider it right now :banghead:
