1st order from Jeff Doty

Today was the big day for our new fish setup with the arrival of new fish from Jeff Doty.
We bought a pair and 25 fry from him for a great price 250 for the pair and 4 bucks each for the fry.
I am very happy with all the fish he sent. There all well cared for which showes in the condition they all arrived. The fry ate within 5 minutes of being in the new tanks.( i cant starve fry, so i tried to feed em and it worked)
Like i said before i bought 25, well he sent atleast 45 pieces :o, i really had a hard time counting them comming out of the bags.
Im still blown away by his generosity.
His packing job was great too. Not one leak in any of the bags and no ammonia burns at all, which considering they were baged up for 14 or so hours was great, and when i opened the box, i could feel the heat come out. Another great Job.
This order was absoultly wonderfull. Thank you Jeff for the fish and your time and effort into making this a great success. Getting started up again has been so much fun and getting an order like this has made it even better.

You couldn't have bought from a nicer person than Jeff.
But what? did you get, I think those fry came out of a 100 gallon tank with three pairs all with fry jumping from parent to parent, quite the sight.

Did Jeff divide the 100 gallon tank or did the three pairs just stake out their own territories?

There was no divider in the tank, there was a rock in the middle that one pair spawned on and a piece of wood at each end that two pairs spawned on.
When I was at Jeff the fry were a couple weeks old, and one male kept sneeking out from one end of the tank and stealing fry from the pair in the middle of the tank, he wanted to be Dad to them all.
It ws really quite the sight to see.

Your new set up looks good, very close to what mine looks like.
Just the right size to be a lot of fun and not to big to be a pain in the butt.

Looks good Matt, what kind of air pump are you useing to run your new system? Sweetwater, Alita Linear???? Just wanting to get some feed back as I am about to invest in one.....
