So I ordered some Tetra Safe Start off amazon since it was recommended by folks on here. It was put in the mailbox by the post office today with a daytime high of 0 degrees. The bottle mostly froze...is it destroyed or is it still OK if it did not freeze completely solid?

It supposedly is live bacteria and I would think that freezing would kill it

I would guess its toast.

Amazon gave me my money back and said it should have been shipped in some type of insulated packaging. This stuff has to remain between 40 and 80 degrees for the bacteria to remain viable.

The instructions usually say "Do Not Freeze". I'm guessing you have a few billion now deceased bacteria.
