Hi all, I got out of having discus about 3 years ago. I ended up selling everything and purchasing a bc29 reef tank. I really enjoy my reef tank, ( I do plan on keeping it) but always thought something was missing. That something is having a tank of discus. I now have an ro setup, a new 55 gallon tank. I plan on picking up some type of filtration set up and I may make a diy led light. The plan is to have 3-4 discus, some cardinal, catfish in the tank along with a few plants. I will be doing 20%- 40% daily water changes everyday.
